FAQs

What aftersales/breakdown support is offered?

We’re always reachable by phone and have field service techs that can attend locally in Perth easily, or remotely if required.

What is the lead time on spare parts should I have a breakdown?

We keep a spare part of every component on shelf at our premises in Perth.

What type of Warranty is given?

Our line boring power units are covered under Australian Consumer Law (ACL), which is part of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010.

Extended warranty is available on request to meet your requirements.

What are the recommended service intervals?

The oil filter element is recommended to be replaced every 6 months.

The hydraulic oil (ISO 68 Grade) should be fully drained and replaced every 12 months with typical usage, or more frequently if used in dirty environments.

Oil and filter should be changed immediately if it shows any signs of contamination, such as being milky (water-contaminated), foamy (aerated), dark/sludgy, or if residue is visible in the oil level sight gauge.

How much electrical power is required to run the power unit?

The system draws a max amperage current of 13Amps, at a supply voltage of 415VAC 50Hz.

Can I run the power unit from a generator supply?

Yes, minimum sizing required is 20kVa at a supply voltage of 415VAC 50Hz.

Can I run the power unit from welder generator combination?

Yes however ensure the the output is 50Hz, some American market welder generator combinations (Miller for example) output 60Hz.

The power unit is not configured to run on 60Hz, please advise us if this is required and the power unit can be configured to suit.

Does the power unit have a cooler?

No it does not, these are designed to operating without a cooler and do so in remote areas with no problems.

Ensure the power unit is not used in direct sunlight and has free flowing air circulating.

If no free flowing air (inside of truck for example) we recommend fitting a fan in the area to circulate air.

What are the weight and dimensions?

Wet weight (full of oil) 175kg.

Dimensions 850mm Tall 600mm Long 300mm Wide.
